When you decide to do a team building event or activity, you have obviously decided it’s time to invest in your personnel. This is the very first step to showing your team that you care. Staff that are happy will remain loyal and have the companies best interest at heart.
There is so much research done on team sustainability and it all boils down to your employees feeling appreciated.
The second, if not equally important factor is the state of your staffs health and mental well-being.
It is well documented that the healthier you are the happier you are and the more productive you are.
By choosing to do a team build, demonstrates to your staff that you value them and that you feel they will benefit from testing their behaviours outside of the office, yet overcoming obstacles by working as a team
We have a really fun event based on the famous television series Survivor. This Team Building Event pushes teams, testing their limits and ultimately finding out who the dream team is in your organisation.
This event is an ideal outside team building activity when hearts start racing and a certain level of physical activity is required. Just getting the blood pumping and your body moving, it illustrates how important it is to release endorphins (the happy hormone) in order to keep happy.
By simply choosing this event you will have covered both of the main solutions to keeping teams happy and effective.
We always start our event with an icebreaker or two. Teams are either already divided up into ideal groups of 6-8 delegates or we can randomly elect teams for you.
No Team is complete without a war cry and a team name and flag.
Teams need to work through a range of challenges. Depending on your time constraints and investment limitations, the number of challenges are pre-determined.
The challenges test your team members ability to work under pressure, providing unique perspective into team behaviour.
May the strongest team survive.
